Commercial Loan Processor

If you're passionate about loans, finance, accounting, and delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to have you join our team as a Commercial Loan Processor. This is more than a traditional processing role. At Cornerstone Bank, our Commercial Loan Processors serve as both a processor and closer, taking ownership of the entire loan closing process—from approval through processing, funding and post-closing. You'll work closely with lenders, customers, title companies, attorneys, appraisers, and other third parties to ensure every closing is accurate, timely, and seamless.
Commercial Loan Processors are responsible for full loan processing, from A – Z!
- Process commercial loans from approval through processing, closing and post-closing including ordering appraisals, title commitments, flood determinations and more.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate loan documentation for commercial loan closings to ensure all loan files are complete, documented accurately, and compliant with both Bank Credit policy and Regulatory requirements.
- Balance closing statements with title companies and resolve discrepancies before funding.
- Coordinate all aspects of the processing and closing process with internal and external partners.
- Fund loans through the Bank's Core processing system while ensuring all conditions have been satisfied.
- Manage the disbursement of closing funds by initiating wire transfers and processing payments to title companies, appraisers, attorneys, inspectors, and other vendors.
- Deliver exceptional service by communicating proactively with customers and lenders throughout the whole lending process.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

- Has strong computer skills and the aptitude to quickly learn and utilize advanced banking systems and technology.
- Your work schedule is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday in the office.
- College is not for everyone; a high school diploma or equivalent is our minimum requirement.
- Banking experience preferred.
- Experienced in Loan operations, Loan Processing and/or Closing is preferred for success in this role.

Work Environment
Works in typical bank/office environment, located on second floor with elevator access.
